Charlotte's
Statement
"My intention
as an artist is to inspire people about relationships
and feelings. I
work mainly from my intuition and try to
make my paintings interesting and challenging. I leave
details out, to stimulate the imagination and to radiate
inspiration. I like to use extremes. I often use a lot
of texture since it gives the painting a 'strong' image.
On the other hand, I make very smooth and translucent paintings.
By doing so you get a more 'fragile' look. While
I paint, I have a solitaire dialogue, and feel the freedom
I need to create."
