The Southern Californian based acoustic vocalist practically described as “the soul version of Jack Johnson” found out more than he expected about his life. With the guitar considered as his third arm and a voice overpowering his body size. Ray Jordan decided that love for people is not the only reason he lives. A calling of the muse that brought his attention to this world that is so beautiful but so empty handed. Ray decided to open up a new door in the world of Pop Jazz R&B with his words and melodies describing color, food, instruments and most importantly LOVE. Using a different way of the typical singing style, with more energy and more breath into the story.

Ray started out an amateur at 17 years old playing guitar and singing in high school. Breathing Pop and Jazz and R&B constantly craving for more Metaphors and catch phrases. Ray as a metaphorical songwriter through his song titles: ( Mediocre Poker, The Capo Song, Oreo, Tailor shop) has showed people that 'you are what you eat, see, play and do, you are the noun' says Ray. As a performer, Ray believes that to be a performer you must be the listener.

Performing with his randomized and unplanned sets, he believes that the song should be played in the spur of the moment so the audience gets a feel of what he feels at the time. Ray has been working his way in the industry and is currently working with Geronimo Broth ( the director of R&B and Hip Hop for Sirius Radio) 'Ray Jordan is one of those rare artists that sounds instantly warm, instantly familiar but yet incredibly original and marvelously talented. Its just a matter of time before everyone knows who Ray Jordan is' and has also worked with James Kempner as former Director of A&R for Dream Nation Entertainment, James Kempner says 'Ray Jordan's unique style will put him on top of the charts, and will electrify you with his incredible vocal performance. I would not be surprised if Ray Jordan is played on radio stations all over the country within the next year. . All the songs are from the heart and poured out to show you his out look on life.'

This year, Ray has just got one of his songs ( Mediocre Poker) published on a new show called Maui Fever which plays weekly on MTV. Ray has been playing in venues involving performances from top artists of the industry like the The Roxy, The BB King, The Viper Room , The Coach House, The Rainbow Bar and Grill, The Renaissance, and much more. Ray also was broadcasted live at the K beach Radio station in Long Beach playing live for all to hear in schools.

As a side job Ray plays local shows in his hometown in the O.C. at restaurants , hotels , cafes and bars. Rays is known throughout the O.C and is still growing. Ray has also been a special guest on “The Ultimate Guitar show” featuring Marc Seal as the host which is airing on ITV-16 as well as COX, PBS, Adelphia, and Time Warner. The show known as a educational experience through learning lead guitar from the top rated performers out in the industry like ( Jason Mraz ,Nick Sterling, Keith Wyatt, Mike Keneally and Dave Starr.
