The Neighborhood Cup is Green and always looking for ways to become greener. Not only do we recycle and encourage re-use of coffee grounds and boxes, we look for products that are environmentally friendly.

A few recent changes you might notice:
* switching our large sandwich to-go containers to a greener sugar cane based product
* our cold drink cups are now a corn-based product.

A Boost for your Plants

Not only do you need nourishment, so do your plants. Have you composted lately? Keep the moisture in and up the PH by adding a layer of coffee grounds to soil around those plants.

Free used coffee grounds are available at The Cup. Help yourself to a bag located in the grey bin under the calendar. Please bring a container to rest the bag in case of leakage.
